Some pieces are created on Yupo paper. Yupo paper is 100% polypropylene, machine-made synthetic paper that is waterproof, non-absorbent, and tear-resistant, offering a smooth, durable surface. It does not buckle or warp. It is widely used by artists for alcohol inks, watercolor, acrylics, and mixed media.
Ali also paints on premier watercolor paper (Cold Press, 140 lbs). The paper is made from 100% cotton. It's acid-free and archival, ideal for watercolors, gouache, inks, and acrylics. The paper pieces have a finished edge.
All pieces are sealed with a permanent protective clear finish.
The works are suitable for traditional mat and glass framing, or if preferred, single and double panel acrylic frames.
